October is my fave – fall weather plus my birthday month equals one happy mama! Our family has been busy with two birthday celebrations, Jillienne’s Gotcha Day, fall break, and gearing up for halloween. I’m worn out but also content with all the things we’ve enjoyed recently.

- Spanx Faux Leather Leggings: These leggings are great for date night – they look and feel amazing. If you’re looking for a little extra sparkle, grab a pair! And if these are too pricy for you, you can always find something similar at a lower price point. My main goal with these leggings is to encourage you to be bold, step out of your comfort zone, and wear something fun this winter!
- Mahomes for the Holidays candle: I love a good candle and to me, this one fits the bill. (Don’t ask my husband though, because he doesn’t love it as much as I do.) The description is “Frasier Fir and Old World Leather.” Doesn’t that sound dreamy? Honestly it smells manly and sort of like fire – that’s the only way I can think to describe it. - Chattanooga: We recently spent a weekend in Chattanooga, TN, and had the best time! We took our 3 youngest kids (ages 3, 9, 10) and walked around the city for hours, exploring bridges and parks and yummy restaurants. The highlight was probably the TN Aquarium – the kids loved it – but there were tons of things in the city that we didn’t get a chance to do. We’ll definitely be going back again. If you’re looking for a child-friendly getaway, Chattanooga might be the place for you.
- My latest book! Have you heard? I recently released our family’s memoir about our journey through infertility, loss, and adoption. Our story is one of God’s faithfulness but I know you’ll be able to see God’s faithfulness to your family as you read it. There are questions at the end of each chapter for you to journal about or discuss with friends. I would love for you to grab a copy!
