What I’m Loving, Edition February 2020

February is almost over and soon we will be on the home stretch towards summer. But before winter escapes, here are a few things I’m loving! (some links are affiliate)

  1. Vitamin C serum: I started using this Vitamin C serum recently because, um, aging… and the verdict is in. I love it! My skin was noticeably softer after only two applications! I’ve heard that Vitamin C is THE BEST thing you can put on your face as  you age and I think I would have to agree. This one isn’t super pricey so grab it soon. Your face will thank you!
  2. This cardigan: I recently bought this because I needed a black cardigan but didn’t want to spend a ton of money. It’s super soft, long enough that it covers places I don’t want seen in public, and has roomy pockets. It also comes in several color options in case you don’t need another black cardigan. Check it out – you won’t be sorry!
  3. A Bible study for Lent: I’m a huge fan of doing holiday-centered Bible studies and this one is great! If you’ve never participated in a study about the Lent and Easter season, this would be a great one to start with. It’s not too late to grab your copy! Send the link to your friends and meet together in person or online to study God’s Word this Easter season. Or just grab a copy for yourself. You can never go wrong when you dive into God’s Word.
  4. The Pharmacist: My husband, teen daughter, and I recently watched this four-part documentary on Netflix and it did not disappoint. It is actually set in my husband’s hometown and was extremely eye-opening as it discussed the opiod epidemic. The documentary follows a pharmacist in South Louisiana whose son was killed during a drug deal and the repercussions from his death. I highly encourage you to watch this, especially if you have a teen. And let them watch it with you!

That’s it for February! If you try one of my recommendations, I would love to hear from you!
